Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat sentimen negatif dari dikonfirmasikannya kasus pertama omicron di AS dari orang yang kembali dari perjalanan ke Afrika Selatan. Sebelumnya indeks sempat bergerak menguat dan bergerak fluktuatif sebelum akhirnya ditutup melemah. Menurut WHO, varian omicron telah terdeteksi paling sedikit di 23 negara. Saham yang terkait dengan perjalanan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Demikian juga dengan saham peritel. Kekhawatiran akan dampak varian baru terhadap aktivitas ekonomi menjadi lebih intens karena pernyataan Jerome Powell pada hari Selasa bahwa The Fed akan membahas untuk mempercepat tapering pada pertemuan The Fed bulan ini. Investor juga khawatir laju inflasi yang tinggi akan mendorong The Fed untuk mempercepat kenaikan suku bunga dari rencana semula. Sementara itu data ADP Employment menunjukkan penyerapan tenaga kerja sebanyak 534 ribu, lebih banyak dari estimasi yang sebesar 506 ribu. Indeks ISM manufaktur naik pada level 61,1 dari 60,8.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 1 Desember 2021 ditutup melemah 0,40% pada level 6507. Saham sektor teknologi mengkontribusikan koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor industri membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp621,74 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6480/6440 dan resistance 6550/6575. Stock pick: TLKM, EXCL, INDF, ICBP, BBCA, TBIG, TOWR, ADRO, UNTR
