Market Review and Prediction.

Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, di mana indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite kembali ditutup pada rekor tertinggi baru. Sentimen positif berasal dari data initial claims yang mencapai level terendah sejak awal krisis pandemi. Data initial claims pekan lalu tercatat sebanyak 340 ribu, turun dari pekan sebelumnya 354 ribu serta dari estimasi yang sebanyak 348 ribu. Selanjutnya pasar akan menantikan data nonfarm payrolls yang akan dirilis nanti malam. Data tenaga kerja merupakan salah satu indikator penting yang dipakai oleh The Fed untuk menentukan seberapa cepat tapering akan dilakukan. Data tenaga kerja yang membaik mengindikasikan pemulihan ekonomi yang berlanjut, namun di sisi lain akan mendorong The Fed untuk segera melakukan tapering. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat karena harapan akan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang akan mendorong kenaikan permintaan minyak serta disebabkan oleh pelemahan dollar AS.
IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 2 September 2021 ditutup melemah 0,21% pada level 6078. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp90,89 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6050/6020 dan resistance 6110/6145. Stock pick: INDF, ICBP, BBTN, ASII, UNTR
