Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat terbatas memulai perdagangan pada semester II tahun ini, setelah pada semester I berhasil membukukan kinerja yang bagus. Perdagangan kemarin berlangsung lebih singkat menjelang libur Hari Kemerdekaan AS di mana bursa tutup pada hari ini. Beberapa faktor positif yang mempengaruhi penguatan indeks diantaranya penguatan saham sektor teknologi serta ketahanan ekonomi AS meskipun menghadapi suku bunga tinggi. Sementara itu indeks PMI manufaktur AS bulan Juni turun di bawah level 50, lebih buruk dari perkiraan. Harga minyak mentah menguat setelah Arab Saudi dan Rusia menyatakan akan memangkas produksi minyak mentahnya pada Agustus masing-masing sebanyak 1 juta bpd dan 500 ribu bpd.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 3 Juli 2023 ditutup menguat 0,52% pada level 6696. Saham sektor energi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp253,19 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6665/6620 dan resistance 6725/6745. Stock pick: BMRI, BBRI, BBNI, ISAT, ICBP, UNVR, ADRO
