Bursa Wall Street libur Hari Kemerdekaan AS. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya factory orders, ISM non-manufacturing index, ADP Employment Change, nonfarm payrolls dan unemployment rate. Indeks di bursa Eropa ditutup menguat didorong oleh kenaikan pada saham sektor minyak dan gas. Pemerintah Jerman sedang mempertimbangkan untuk melakukan bailout negara terhadap perusahaan utilitas untuk meredam dampak dari akibat Rusia mengurangi pasokan gas ke Eropa. Indeks bursa Asia ditutup mix, di tengah mencari arah pasar selanjutnya dan menantikan keputusan kebijakan moneter beberapa bank sentral pada pekan ini, seperti bank sentral Australia dan Malaysia. Pasar juga menantikan minutes dari hasil pertemuan The Fed bulan lalu, serta laporan publikasi Bank of England dan European Central Bank. Sementara itu kekhawatiran akan resesi menjadi faktor negatif terhadap pergerakan harga minyak mentah, namun ketatnya suplay minyak akibat rendahnya produksi minyak OPEC, gangguan suplay dari Libia dan sanksi terhadap Rusia, mendorong kembali penguatan harga minyak mentah.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 4 Juli 2022 ditutup melemah 2,28% pada level 6639. Semua sektor melemah dengan kontribusi pelemahan terbesar pada saham sektor teknologi. Investor asing net sell Rp1,110 triliun, termasuk transaksi di pasar negosiasi. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6560/6500 dan resistance 6670/6750.
