Bursa Wall Street libur Hari Kemerdekaan AS. Indeks bursa Eropa ditutup menguat tipis menantikan data ekonomi serta menjelang earning season triwulan II 2023. The Fed akan merilis minutes hasil pertemuan bulan lalu pada hari Rabu ini. Indeks bursa Asia mix setelah bank sentral Australia mempertahankan suku bunga tetap pada level 4,1%. Inflasi Korea Selatan pada Juni melambat selama lima bulan berturut-turut mendekati level target bank sentral. Harga minyak mentah stabil di tengah pemangkasan produksi oleh Arab Saudi dan Rusia serta kekhawatiran akan penurunan permintaan.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 4 Juli 2023 ditutup melemah 0,22% pada level 6681. Saham sektor properti mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp125,66 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler.
