Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah dipicu oleh adanya komentar dari salah satu pejabat The Fed yang mengindikasikan The Fed dapat lebih agresif dalam memperketat kebijakan moneternya. Dia juga menyatakan bahwa The Fed perlu mengurangi kepemilikan obligasinya di neraca dengan cepat sebagai upaya mendorong penurunan inflasi. Hal tersebut menimbulkan kekhawatiran pasar akan potensi perlambatan ekonomi akibat kebijakan moneter yang ketat dari The Fed. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun naik pada level 2,56%, tertinggi sejak Mei 2019. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi akibat kecemasan akan dampak kenaikan suku bunga terhadap perusahaan teknologi. Kekhawatiran investor bertambah setelah Deutsche Bank memprediksi ekonomi AS akan mengalami resesi pada akhir tahun depan dan tahun 2024, akibat upaya The Fed menurunkan inflasi dengan kebijakan yang lebih agresif.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 5 April 2022 ditutup menguat 0,45% pada rekor tertinggi baru di 7148. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor keuangan mengalami pelemahan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp916,74 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar negosiasi atas saham BBCA dengan net buy asing sebesar Rp199,08 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7100/7080 dan resistance 7170/7200. Stock pick: ASII, EXCL, EMTK, SCMA, ADRO, PTBA, INDY, ANTM, HRUM, MEDC
