Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah setelah dirilisnya minutes FOMC pada Desember lalu. Sebelumnya indeks Dow Jones sempat menguat mencapai rekor tertinggi dipicu oleh penguatan pada saham yang pro dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan tahan terhadap kenaikan suku bunga. Saham sektor energi, keuangan dan komoditas mengalami kenaikan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi akibat kenaikan yield obligasi pemerintah AS karena ekspektasi akan kenaikan suku bunga The Fed pada tahun ini. Berdasarkan minutes dari hasil pertemuan The Fed pada Desember lalu, The Fed akan mengakhiri program pembelian obligasi serta berpotensi menaikkan suku bunga sebanyak tiga kali pada tahun ini. Akibatnya yield US-Treasury mengalami kenaikan.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 5 Januari 2022 ditutup melemah 0,49% pada level 6662. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor keuangan menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang menguat. Investor asing net buy Rp817,33 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6620/6585 dan resistance 6688/6720. Stock pick: BBCA, BBRI, ARTO, BBNI, ICBP, CPIN, SIDO
