Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat kenaikan harga minyak mentah menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan potensi inflasi yang kembali meningkat yang akan membuat The Fed masih melanjutkan kenaikan suku bunganya. Harga minyak mentah menguat setelah Arab Saudi dan Rusia memperpanjang pemangkasan produksi suka rela hingga akhir tahun ini. Yield US-Treasury mengalami kenaikan karena ekspektasi kenaikan inflasi akan membuat kenaikan suku bunga berlanjut. Harga emas melemah akibat kenaikan yield obligasi dan dollar AS.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 5 September 2023 ditutup melemah 0,07% pada level 6991. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp150,07 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6970/6920 dan resistance 7010/7030. Stock pick: BBNI, ASII, UNTR, AALI, ESSA, PGAS, TLKM, ISAT, ITMG, ADRO, PTBA
