Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah setelah data menunjukkan pasar tenaga kerja masih kuat sehingga meningkatkan ekspektasi kenaikan suku bunga The Fed akan berlanjut pada Juli ini. Hal tersebut mendorong kenaikan yield obligasi pemerintah AS. Data ADP Employment bulan Juni tercatat sebesar 497 ribu, lebih tinggi dari bulan sebelumnya 267 ribu dan dari estimasi 228 ribu. Meskipun demikian data initial claims pekan lalu menunjukkan kenaikan lebih banyak dari perkiraan. Data lainnya yang menunjukkan ekonomi AS tetap tangguh adalah aktivitas sektor jasa yang meningkat lebih tinggi dari estimasi. Saham sektor energi juga mengkontribusikan pelemahan indeks, meskipun harga minyak mentah rebound dari level terendahnya ditopang oleh cadangan minyak AS yang mengalami penurunan lebih besar dari perkiraan.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 6 Juli 2023 ditutup menguat 0,57% pada level 6757. Saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp260,22 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6740/6720 dan resistance 6772/6798. Stock pick: BBCA, ISAT, INDY, JSMR, SMGR, AKRA, MEDC
