Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix, di mana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup menguat sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun sedikit menguat, meskipun demikian beberapa saham sektor teknologi menguat. Pasar menantikan testimoni Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell di hadapan Kongres AS pada hari Selasa dan Rabu pekan ini. Komentar Powell tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan indikasi mengenai arah kebijakan The Fed mengenai inflasi dan suku bunga. Selain itu pasar juga menantikan data nonfarm payrolls yang akan dirilis pada hari Jumat. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat. Namun harga gas alam melemah akibat prediksi cuaca yang lebih hangat dari perkiraan sebelumnya. Harga emas juga melemah menantikan testimoni Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 6 Maret 2023 ditutup melemah 0,097% pada level 6807. Saham sektor basic materials mengalami pelemahan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor consumer noncyclicals membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp250,74 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6780/6750 dan resistance 6835/6870. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, TLKM, UNVR, HMSP, GGRM
