Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat setelah selama beberapa hari terakhir mengalami koreksi. Penguatan indeks antara lain dipicu oleh optimisme akan kinerja keuangan emiten seiring dengan berlanjutnya earning season serta menantikan data inflasi yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini. Dari 85% emiten dalam indeks S&P500 yang telah merilis laporan keuangan, sebanyak 80% membukukan kinerja yang melebihi estimasi. Sementara itu harga emas melemah akibat salah satu pejabat The Fed yag mengindikasikan akan adanya tambahan kenaikan suku bunga dalam rangka menurunkan inflasi.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 7 Agustus 2023 ditutup menguat 0,49% pada level 6886. Saham sektor keuangan membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp808,11 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6850/6835 dan resistance 6925/6945. Stock pick: BBNI, BMRI, BBCA, BBTN, BBRI, ASII, ACES, CTRA, SMRA, MYOR
