Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat menjelang pemilu midterm kongres AS dan akan dirilisnya data inflasi pada pekan ini. Pemilu midterm yang akan diselenggarakan pada hari ini waktu AS, akan menentukan partai mana yang akan memegang kuasa di kongres AS dan yang akan mempengaruhi pengeluaran dana pemerintah AS ke depannya. Saat ini Demokrat memegang kuasa di DPR AS dan memiliki suara mayoritas di senat. Pasar juga mengantisipasi data CPI Oktober yang akan dirilis pada hari Kamis waktu AS, yang diharapkan akan memberi indikasi seberapa tinggi The Fed akan menaikkan suku bunga untuk menurunkan laju inflasi. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah melemah karena proses pembukaan aktivitas ekonomi kembali di China dianggap lama dan tidak ditentukan kapan waktunya. Sedangkan harga emas menguat karena pelemahan dollar AS menjelang dirilisnya data inflasi pada pekan ini.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 7 November 2022 ditutup menguat 0,81% pada level 7102. Saham sektor basic materials membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang mengalami koreksi. Investor asing net buy Rp643,19 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non regular. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7050/7018 dan resistance 7135/7180.
