Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat yang antara lain dipengaruhi oleh earning season dan penantian pasar akan data inflasi yang akan dirilis pada Kamis pekan ini waktu AS. Data inflasi diperkirakan sebesar 0,4% mom pada Januari lalu dan 7,2% yoy, yang merupakan level tertinggi dalam 40 tahun terakhir. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun meningkat pada level 1,97%, yang merupakan level tertinggi sejak November 2019, mengantisipasi kenaikan data inflasi tersebut. Hingga saat ini sebanyak 300 emiten dalam indeks S&P500 telah merilis laporan keuangan, dengan 77% melebihi estimasi laba dan 75% membukukan pendapatan di atas perkiraan.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 8 Februari 2022 ditutup melemah 0,23% pada level 6789. Saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor keuangan membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp1,495 triliun. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6750/6730 dan resistance 6806/6860.
