Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat. Pasar menantikan data inflasi AS dan pertemuan The Fed pada pekan depan. Data initial claims pekan lalu mengalami kenaikan pada level tertinggi sejak Oktober 2021, yang mengindikasikan pasar tenaga kerja mulai melemah. Hal ini meningkatkan harapan bahwa The Fed tidak akan menaikkan suku bunga pada pekan depan. Namun jika The Fed mempertahankan suku bunga tetap pada pertemuan ini, bisa tidak berarti The Fed telah menghentikan program kenaikan suku bunganya. Harga emas menguat seiring pelemahan dollar AS dan yield US-Treasury setelah kenaikan data initial claims. Sedangkan harga minyak mentah melemah tajam karena adanya berita bahwa AS dan Iran mendekati kesepakatan ekspor minyak Iran. Namun pelemahan harga minyak mentah berkurang setelah dilaporkan bahwa berita tersebut palsu.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 8 Juni 2023 ditutup menguat 0,70% pada level 6666. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor properti mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp387,07 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6600/6570 dan resistance 6680/6700. Stock pick: BMRI, BBNI, TLKM, ISAT, PTBA, UNVR, CPIN, JPFA, INKP, TKIM
