Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif di mana indeks Dow Jones ditutup melemah terbatas, sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup menguat tipis. Indeks berusaha rebound dari pelemahan sehari sebelumnya. Namun data tenaga kerja semakin menambah kekhawatiran pasar bahwa kenaikan suku bunga The Fed pada bulan Maret ini akan lebih besar dari sebelumnya. Sehari sebelumnya indeks melemah setelah testimoni Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell menyatakan bahwa terminal rate suku bunga The Fed akan lebih tinggi dari perkiraan sebelumnya karena data ekonomi yang masih kuat.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 8 Maret 2023 ditutup menguat 0,14% pada level 6776. Saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic materials mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp385,93 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6720/6688 dan resistance 6800/6820. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBCA, BBNI, MTEL, KLBF, TLKM, ISAT, HMSP, ADRO, ESSA
