Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif di mana indeks Dow Jones ditutup melemah sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup di teritori positif. Pasar menantikan data inflasi tingkat konsumen bulan April yang akan dirilis pada hari Rabu dan data inflasi tingkat produsen yang akan dirilis pada hari Kamis. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah berlanjut rebound seiring dengan berkurangnya kekhawatiran akan potensi resesi ekonomi. Harga emas juga menguat menantikan data inflasi AS.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 8 Mei 2023 ditutup melemah 0,26% pada level 6769. Saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor properti membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp461,96 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6735/6700 dan resistance 6800/6840. Stock pick: BBCA, BRIS, AGRO, UNTR, MEDC, ADRO, PTBA, INDF, MYOR
