Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix, dimana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup menguat sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup di teritori negatif. Investor optimis dengan pemulihan ekonomi AS yang tetap berjalan dan The Fed masih mempertahankan kebijakan moneternya yang longgar. Sekitar 60% orang dewasa di AS telah mendapatkan vaksinasi Covid-19, yang diikuti oleh pembukaan aktivitas ekonomi secara cepat. Namun varian baru Covid-19 dikhawatirkan dapat menjadi risiko pasar pada semester II ini. Selama semester I 2021, indeks Dow Jones +12% ytd, indeks S&P500 +14% ytd dan Nasdaq Composite +9% ytd.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 30 Juni 2021 ditutup menguat 0,61% pada level 5985. Saham sektor consumer cyclicals membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp472,3 miliar.
