Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah terbatas, karena pasar menantikan data inflasi dan perkembangan pembahasan kenaikan batas atas utang AS. Presiden AS dan Ketua DPR AS telah melakukan pembicaraan terkait kenaikan plafon utang AS, namun belum mencapai kesepakatan karena DPR AS meminta adanya pemangkasan pengeluaran pemerintah untuk menaikkan batas utang. Pasar cenderung menunggu data inflasi dan kenaikan batas atas utang.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 9 Mei 2023 ditutup menguat 0,15% pada level 6779. Saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp30,46 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6735/6700 dan resistance 6800/6840. Stock pick: BBCA, BBRI, BRIS, ASII, UNTR, ADHI, PTPP, TLKM, PGAS
