Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah setelah gagalnya kesepakatan damai antara Rusia dan Ukraina kembali menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan dampaknya terhadap inflasi dan perlambatan ekonomi global. Namun harga minyak mentah mengalami koreksi setelah Rusia menyatakan akan memenuhi kontrak pengiriman minyak, sehingga meredakan kecemasan akan ketatnya suplay. Sedangkan harga emas menguat karena kekhawatiran akan berlanjutnya konflik. Sementara itu data inflasi AS pada bulan Februari mencapai 7,9%, yang merupakan level tertinggi dalam 40 tahun terakhir, serta lebih tinggi dari estimasi yang sebesar 7,8%. Inflasi mom mencapai 0,8%, lebih tinggi dari estimasi yang sebesar 0,7%. Data tersebut semakin menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan potensi semakin tingginya inflasi seiring dengan kenaikan harga komoditas sebagai dampak perang Rusia-Ukraina beserta sejumlah sanksi yang diberikan AS kepada Rusia. Pasar juga mendapat sentimen negatif dari hasil pertemuan ECB yang akan menghentikan program pembelian obligasi lebih cepat dari perkiraan, yaitu pada triwulan III tahun ini jika data ekonomi mendukung.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 10 Maret 2022 ditutup menguat 0,87% pada level 6924. Saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp189,25 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar negosiasi atas saham BBRI dengan net sell asing sebesar Rp119,54 miliar.
