Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dipicu oleh reboundnya saham sektor teknologi. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun turun pada level di bawah 1,75%, sehingga mendorong reli pada saham sektor teknologi yang sehari sebelumnya juga ditutup menguat. Saham sektor energi juga mengalami penguatan seiring dengan kenaikan pada harga minyak mentah di atas level USD 80/barel karena ekspektasi dampak penyebaran varian omicron hanya bersifat sementara terhadap permintaan minyak mentah. Sementara itu Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell dalam testimoninya di hadapan senat terkait dengan pencalonannya kembali sebagai Chairman The Fed, menyatakan bahwa normalisasi jaringan suplay diharapkan akan membantu menurunkan inflasi pada tahun ini, namun The Fed tidak segan untuk menaikkan suku bunga lebih banyak dari perkiraan sebelumnya jika laju inflasi masih tinggi. Pasar akan menantikan data inflasi pada hari Rabu dan laporan keuangan perbankan pada hari Jumat.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 11 Januari 2022 ditutup melemah 0,65% pada level 6647. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp1,109 triliun. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6621/6585 dan resistance 6677/6710. Stock pick: BBCA, INDF, ICBP, BBTN, PTBA, HRUM
