Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan perlambatan ekonomi serta menjelang dirilisnya data inflasi bulan Juni nanti malam. Indeks sempat bergerak fluktuatif di dua arah sebelum akhirnya ditutup melemah. Investor tampaknya beralih dari saham ke obligasi dan dollar AS. Sehingga yield US-Treasury tenor 10 tahun turun di bawah level 3%. Pepsi Co memulai earning season kuartal II dengan merilis laporan keuangan di atas estimasi serta menaikkan proyeksi pendapatan untuk tahun ini. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah melemah akibat penguatan dollar AS dan prospek permintaan yang lebih rendah jika ekonomi melemah.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 12 Juli 2022 ditutup melemah 0,06% pada level 6718. Saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp142,46 miliar, termasuk transaksi non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6690/6650 dan resistance 6780/6830.
