Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah terbatas, menantikan data inflasi CPI yang diharapkan akan memberikan gambaran mengenai prospek kenaikan suku bunga The Fed selanjutnya. Pada awal perdagangan, indeks sempat menguat dan yield obligasi turun setelah dirilisnya Fed Minutes yang menunjukkan The Fed akan tetap menaikkan suku bunga dan mempertahankannya pada level tinggi hingga inflasi turun. Satu komentar dalam risalah rapat memunculkan optimisme bahwa The Fed mungkin akan memperlambat kampanye pengetatannya atau bahkan menghentikannya jika ada lebih banyak turbulensi pasar keuangan. Kemudian indeks bergerak fluktuatif setelah indeks PPI bulan September yang menunjukkan inflasi di tingkat produsen naik 0,4% mom, lebih tinggi dari estimasi 0,2% mom. Untuk indeks PPI tahunan sedikit turun menjadi 8,5% yoy dari 8,6% yoy. Pasar akan menantikan data inflasi di tingkat konsumer CPI pada hari ini.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 12 Oktober 2022 ditutup melemah 0,43% pada level 6909. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang menguat. Investor asing net buy Rp209,69 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non regular. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6860/6800 dan resistance 6925/6950.
