Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup variatif di mana indeks Dow Jones ditutup menguat sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Baik indeks S&P500 maupun Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah selama pekan lalu selama dua pekan berturut-turut. Pelemahan disebabkan oleh koreksi pada saham sektor teknologi. Selain itu koreksi juga disebabkan oleh profit taking setelah data inflasi CPI lebih rendah dari perkiraan. Namun data inflasi tingkat produsen PPI bulan Juli yang dirilis hari Jumat lalu meningkat 0,3% mom, lebih tinggi dari estimasi 0,2% mom.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 11 Agustus 2023 ditutup melemah 0,19% pada level 6879. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic materials membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp278,8 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6860/6830 dan resistance 6910/6925. Stock pick: TLKM, TOWR, BRPT, TPIA, MAPI, AMRT, INDF, PGAS, SCMA
