Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat data inflasi AS bulan Juni yang di atas estimasi. Inflasi Juni sebesar 9,1% yoy, tertinggi sejak tahun 1981, meningkat dari bulan sebelumnya 8,6% serta dari perkiraan 8,8%. Inflasi inti sebesar 5,9% yoy, di atas perkiraan 5,7% yoy. Kenaikan inflasi tersebut, menimbulkan ekspektasi The Fed dapat menaikkan suku bunga lebih tinggi pada pertemuan 27 Juli nanti sebagai upaya menurunkan laju inflasi. Prediksi pasar, The Fed dapat menaikkan suku bunga pada kisaran 0,75%-1%. Sebelumnya indeks sempat melemah lebih dalam setelah dirilisnya data inflasi tersebut. Pelemahan indeks berkurang karena penguatan pada saham sektor konsumer dan teknologi. Sementara itu Delta Air Lines merilis laporan keuangan yang variatif. Kekhawatiran akan resesi ekonomi juga meningkat dengan laju inflasi yang masih tinggi tersebut. Ekonomi AS pada Q1 2022 lalu turun 1,5%, untuk Q2 diperkirakan kembali turun 1,2%.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 13 Juli 2022 ditutup melemah 1,15% pada level 6640. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic materials menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang menguat. Investor asing net sell Rp880,09 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6600/6560 dan resistance 6700/6750.
