Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat ketidakpastian ekonomi dan meningkatnya potensi kenaikan pajak perusahaan, meskipun data inflasi menunjukkan perlambatan. Data inflasi AS bulan Agustus tercatat sebesar 5,3% yoy lebih rendah dari bulan sebelumnya yang sebesar 5,4% yoy. Data tersebut menguatkan prediksi Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell bahwa inflasi tinggi bersifat sementara, serta meredakan kekhawatiran investor bahwa The Fed akan mengetatkan kebijakan moneternya lebih cepat dari perkiraan sebelumnya. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun turun karena data inflasi tersebut yang mendorong tekanan jual pada saham keuangan. Sementara itu paket anggaran pemerintah Biden senilai USD3,5 triliun semakin dekat untuk disahkan jika Demokrat menang. Sehingga jika anggaran tersebut disahkan, maka semakin dekat dengan kenaikan pajak perusahaan yang diekspektasikan yaitu menjadi 26,5% dari 21%. Di tengah kekhawatiran akan ketidakpastian ekonomi, membuat hal tersebut direspon negatif oleh pasar.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 14 September 2021 ditutup menguat 0,67% pada level 6129. Saham sektor energi membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp401,96 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6110/6070 dan resistance 6150/6180. Stock pick: ASII, TLKM, ADRO, AKRA, UNTR, KLBF
