Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat terbatas dipicu oleh berita di mulainya kembali negosiasi kenaikan batas atas utang AS pada pekan ini antara pemerintahan Biden dengan kongres AS. Pasar menantikan hasil negosiasi ini menjelang batas waktu kenaikan plafon utang AS pada 1 Juni 2023 menurut menteri keuangan AS Janet Yellen. Pada pekan ini pasar juga menantikan laporan keuangan beberapa emiten peritel seperti Home Depot, Target dan Wal-Mart. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat dipicu oleh prospek ketatnya suplay dari Kanada dan lainnya, namun kekhawatiran akan resesi ekonomi membatasi penguatan harga minyak mentah.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 15 Mei 2023 ditutup menguat 0,06% pada level 6711. Saham sektor consumer non cyclical membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor properti mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp269,59 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6690/6650 dan resistance 6735/6755. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, ASII, AUTO, KLBF, ERAA, MYOR, ICBP, CPIN
