Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah tipis karena investor cenderung menantikan gambaran ekonomi yang lebih jelas di tengah tingginya inflasi. Dollar AS menguat pada level tertinggi selama 16 bulan terakhir. Penguatan dollar AS ini antara lain disebabkan oleh kekhawatiran akan inflasi yang menguat lebih tinggi dan lebih lama dari perkiraan sebelumnya serta pesimisme akan saham dan minyak mentah mendorong kenaikan permintaan akan safe haven seperti dollar AS. Investor juga menantikan data penjualan ritel yang akan dirilis nanti malam. Kenaikan yield obligasi pemerintah AS juga mendorong koreksi harga saham. Harga minyak mentah sempat melemah pada level terendah selama sepekan terakhir akibat kekhawatiran pemerintahan Biden dapat memanfaatkan cadangan minyak strategis AS untuk meredam kenaikan harga minyak mentah. Harga emas sempat menguat namun kemudian terkoreksi.
IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 15 November 2021 ditutup melemah 0,53% pada level 6616. Saham sektor energi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor teknologi membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp680,42 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6590/6550 dan resistance 6675/6704. Stock pick: TLKM, ISAT, EMTK, SCMA
