Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif dimana indeks Dow Jones dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah terbatas, sedangkan indeks S&P500 menguat tipis. Indeks bergerak fluktuatif sepanjang perdagangan. Investor melakukan penilaian terhadap perkembangan terakhir dari The Fed serta krisis Rusia-Ukraina. Sebelumnya indeks sempat melemah lebih dalam. Koreksi indeks berkurang setelah dirilisnya risalah rapat The Fed pada Januari lalu, yang direspon pasar bahwa The Fed tidak akan menaikkan suku bunga lebih agresif dari perkiraan sebelumnya. The Fed menyatakan jika inflasi tidak mengalami penurunan, maka The Fed akan menaikkan suku bunga dan mengurangi kepemilikan obligasi di neracanya segera dengan tahap yang lebih cepat dari antisipasi The Fed sebelumnya. Sementara itu data penjualan ritel bulan Januari naik 3,8%, lebih tinggi dari estimasi 2,1% dan dari bulan Desember yang turun 1,9%.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 16 Februari 2022 ditutup menguat 0,63% pada level 6850. Saham sektor consumer cyclicals membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp845,72 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6807/6750 dan resistance 6875/6900. Stock pick: BBCA, BBNI, AKRA, ARTO, PTPP, WIKA, ADHI, MDKA, INCO
