Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dipicu oleh laporan keuangan Home Depot dan kenaikan data penjualan ritel bulan Oktober. Data penjualan ritel bulan Oktober mengalami pertumbuhan 1,7%, di atas estimasi 1,4%, serta merupakan pertumbuhan tertinggi sejak Maret. Hal ini mengindikasikan masyarakat AS sudah mulai belanja lebih awal menjelang liburan akhir tahun untuk menghindari kehabisan barang akibat masalah rantai pasokan. Pasar juga menantikan lebih banyak laporan kinerja keuangan dari beberapa emiten peritel. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah bergerak mix di tengah prospek ketatnya cadangan dan meningkatnya kasus korona di Eropa.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 16 November 2021 ditutup menguat 0,53% pada level 6651. Saham sektor basic materials membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp348,35 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6625/6590 dan resistance 6675/6714. Stock pick: TLKM, ISAT, EMTK, KLBF, AGRO, BRPT, ASSA, ARTO
