Bursa Wall Street pada perdagangan Senin libur Hari Martin Luther King Jr. Indeks di bursa Eropa ditutup menguat dipengaruhi oleh berita individual emiten dan data pertumbuhan ekonomi China. Selama Q4 2021 lalu ekonomi China tumbuh 4% yoy di atas perkiraan yang sebesar 3,6% yoy. Untuk pertumbuhan sepanjang tahun 2021 sebesar 8,1%, sedikit di bawah perkiraan yang sebesar 8,4%. Pasar juga mencermati pertemuan menteri keuangan euro di Brussels yang antara lain membahas laju inflasi tinggi yang memerlukan intervensi untuk meredanya di tengah pandemi yang masih berlangsung.
IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 17 Januari 2022 ditutup melemah 0,72% pada level 6645. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor energi menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang menguat. Investor asing net buy Rp83,65 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6593/6560 dan resistance 6690/6710. Stock pick: BBRI, BBNI, ARTO, ASSA, ITMG, PTBA
