Market Review and Prediction:

Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada perdagangan akhir pekan lalu ditutup melemah akibat data ekonomi yang lebih buruk dari estimasi serta kekhawatiran akan inflasi. Indeks keyakinan konsumen dari University of Michigan turun pada level 80,8 pada pertengahan bulan Juli dari level 85,5 di bulan sebelumnya, serta lebih buruk dibandingkan estimasi yang diperkirakan naik pada level 86,3. Ekspektasi inflasi meningkat dengan keyakinan konsumen inflasi diperkirakan sebesar 4,8% pada tahun depan, yang merupakan level tertinggi sejak Agustus 2008. Sebelumnya indeks sempat dibuka menguat, dipicu oleh data penjualan ritel bulan Juni yang tumbuh 0,6%, di atas estimasi yang sebesar 0,4%. Saham sektor energi juga berkontribusi terhadap pelemahan indeks, seiring dengan harga minyak mentah yang sempat turun sebelum akhirnya menguat. Harga emas melemah akibat penguatan dollar AS. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya housing starts, building permits, existing home sales serta indeks IHS Markit Manufacturing dan Services PMI.
IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 16 Juli 2021 ditutup menguat 0,43% pada level 6072. Saham sektor energi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp74,11 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6040/6020 dan resistance 6097/6114. Stock pick: TLKM, ASII, BBNI, BRIS, AGRO, JSMR, TINS, JPFA, PTBA, KLBF
