Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup menguat tipis cenderung stagnan, namun selama tiga pekan berturut-turut indeks utama di Wall Street ditutup menguat di tengah optimisme akan melambatnya laju inflasi dan ekspektasi The Fed tidak akan menaikkan suku bunga lagi. Sebagai tambahan, turunnya data initial claims dan penjualan ritel yang dirilis pada pekan lalu, menambah optimisme pasar bahwa The Fed akan segera menghentikan kebijakan kenaikan suku bunganya. Optimisme tersebut mendorong penurunan yield US-Treasury. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah rebound setelah sehari sebelumnya mengalami koreksi.

Data ekonomi AS yang akan diirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya existing home sales, FOMC minutes dan initial claims. Sedangkan dari domestik, Bank Indonesia dijadwalkan akan melakukan Rapat Dewan Gubernur (RDG) yang menurut konsensus diperkirakan BI akan mempertahankan suku bunga BI7DRR pada level 6%.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 17 November 2023 ditutup menguat 0,28% pada level 6977. Saham sektor infrastruktur membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp157 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6950/6920 dan resistance 7000/7030.
