Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada perdagangan akhir pekan lalu ditutup melemah di tengah kekhawatiran akan kembali meningkatnya kasus virus korona, menjelang pertemuan The Fed pekan ini serta tendensi koreksi indeks pada bulan September. Pada perdagangan Jumat lalu juga merupakan jatuh temponya futures indeks saham, indeks opsi, opsi saham dan futures saham secara bersamaan, sehingga fluktuasi meningkat. Pada pekan ini perhatian pasar global akan fokus pada pertemuan The Fed yang dijadwalkan pada 21-22 September 2021. Investor akan mencermati hasil pertemuan tersebut, apakah The Fed akan mengumumkan kapan akan mulai melakukan tapering. Pada pekan ini data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis diantaranya housing starts, building permits, existing home sales, initial claims dan new home sales.
IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 17 September 2021 ditutup menguat 0,38% pada level 6133. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp595,4 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6110/6070 dan resistance 6150/6180. Stock pick: TLKM, FREN, SCMA, CPIN
