Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix, dimana indeks Dow Jones menguat sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Kinerja keuangan beberapa emiten yang lebih baik dari estimasi mendorong penguatan indeks Dow Jones. Namun koreksi saham Netflix mendorong pelemahan pada Nasdaq Composite. Netflix melemah tajam setelah melaporkan penurunan pelanggan pada Q1 2022, yang merupakan penurunan untuk pertama kalinya dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Hingga saat ini sekitar 12% emiten dalam indeks S&P500 telah merilis laporan keuangan, dimana sebesar 80% nya membukukan laba yang melebihi estimasi. Namun minimnya petunjuk prospek kinerja dari emiten, menimbulkan faktor negatif. Pasar juga mencermati yield US-Treasury yang masih di level tinggi.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 20 April 2022 ditutup menguat 0,39% pada level 7227. Saham sektor infrastruktur menyumbangkan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp824,46 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7200/7150 dan resistance 7275/7300.
