Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup mix, di mana indeks Dow Jones ditutup menguat sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Ketegangan geopolitik dan inflasi masih menjadi faktor negatif, ditambah dengan koreksi pada saham Nvidia. Saham-saham sektor teknologi cenderung melemah, mengindikasikan pasar melakukan rotasi sektor pilihan investasi dari saham sektor teknologi yang selama beberapa bulan terakhir menjadi pendorong reli indeks. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya new home sales, PDB Q1 2024 dan indeks PCE prices. Sedangkan dari domestik, data ekonomi yang akan dirilis diantaranya neraca perdagangan dan hasil Rapat Dewan Gubernur Bank Indonesia.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 19 April 2024 ditutup melemah 1,11% pada level 7087. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang menguat. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp838,17 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7030/7000 dan resistance 7100/7130. Stock pick: BMRI, BBCA, BBTN, EXCL, PTBA, ADRO, TKIM, INKP
