Bursa Wall Street tutup pada Senin kemarin karena libur President Day. Indeks di bursa Eropa ditutup melemah di tengah investor memonitor perkembangan dari konflik Rusia-Ukraina. Dikabarkan AS dan Rusia sudah menyepakati rencana pertemuan keduanya untuk mencegah invasi Rusia ke Ukraina, jika Rusia tidak meluncurkan serangan dalam beberapa hari ke depan. Namun Rusia kemudian membantah adanya rencana pertemuan tersebut. Mayoritas indeks bursa Asia ditutup melemah pada perdagangan kemarin. Bank sentral China mempertahankan suku bunganya tetap. Sementara itu indeks PMI manufaktur area euro pada bulan Februari mengalami kenaikan pada level tertinggi selama lima bulan terakhir di 55,8 dari bulan sebelumnya 52,3, serta lebih tinggi dari estimasi, 52,7. Indeks PMI manufaktur Inggris juga meningkat pada level 60,2 dari 54,2. Data ekonomi yang kuat ini menimbulkan ekspektasi bahwa bank sentral akan menaikkan suku bunga lebih banyak dari perkiraan sebelumnya karena inflasi yang tinggi.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 21 Februari 2022 ditutup menguat 0,15% pada level 6902. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor transportasi mencatatkan koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp611,75 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6875/6850 dan resistance 6950/6975. Stock pick: BBRI, ARTO, HRUM, ANTM, TLKM, BBCA, BBYB
