Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, rebound dari koreksi signifikan pekan lalu. Meskipun demikian, beberapa investor berpendapat rebound di tengah kekhawatiran akan resesi ekonomi ini hanya berlangsung dalam jangka pendek. Sedangkan beberapa investor lain berpendapat bahwa indeks telah oversold. Saham sektor energi merupkan kontributor utam penguatan indeks, seiring dengan kenaikan harga minyak mentah. Saham sektor teknologi juga mendorong penguatan indeks. Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell dijadwalkan akan melakukan testimoni di hadapan Kongres pada hari Rabu dan Kamis. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat seiring dengan kenaikan permintaan di musim panas dan ketatnya suplay karena adanya sanksi atas Rusia.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 21 Juni 2022 ditutup menguat 0,97% pada level 7044. Semua sektor menguat dengan kontribusi penguatan terbesar pada saham sektor energi. Investor asing net sell Rp406,84 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7000/6976 dan resistance 7085/7138.
