Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada perdagangan Jumat kembali ditutup melemah, sehingga indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 mengalami koreksi mingguan selama tiga pekan berturut-turut. Nasdaq Composite mengalami koreksi paling banyak dan mencatatkan kinerja terburuk sejak Oktober 2020. Laporan keuangan Netflix yang mengecewakan semakin menambah koreksi saham sektor teknologi yang selama beberapa hari terakhir sudah mengalami koreksi akibat kekhawatiran akan valuasi saham karena kenaikan suku bunga. Apple dan Tesla dijadwalkan akan merilis laporan keuangan pada pekan ini.
Pada pekan ini pasar akan mencermati pertemuan The Fed pada hari Selasa dan Rabu. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya indeks harga rumah, consumer confidence, new home sales, GDP Q4/2021, personal income, personal spending dan PCE prices.
IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 21 Januari 2022 ditutup menguat 1,5% pada level 6726. Semua sektor menguat dengan saham sektor basic materials mengalami kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp975,11 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6700/6670 dan resistance 6754/6780.
