Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, berbalik dari sebelumnya yang sempat mengalami tekanan jual dan melemah signifikan. Pada awal sesi indeks sempat melemah tajam di mana indeks Dow Jones sempat melemah lebih dari 1000 poin dan Nasdaq Composite melemah lebih dari 4%, akibat tekanan jual pada saham sektor teknologi karena kekhawatiran akan kenaikan suku bunga The Fed. Indeks rebound karena telah mengalami koreksi selama beberapa hari terakhir. Selanjutnya pasar akan mencermati pertemuan The Fed yang dimulai pada Selasa dan berakhir pada Rabu. Pasar akan mencermati adanya indikasi kapan The Fed akan mulai menaikkan suku bunga dan berapa banyak suku bunga akan dinaikkan.
IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 25 Januari 2022 ditutup melemah 1,06% pada level 6655. Sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan sektor energi membukukan kenaikan paling besar. Investor asing net buy Rp11,67 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6610/6585 dan resistance 6710/6750.
