Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup menguat mendorong indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup pada level tertinggi baru. Penguatan indeks antara lain dikontribusikan oleh kenaikan saham perbankan dan yang terkait dengan pembukaan aktivitas ekonomi. Yield US-T notes dengan tenor 10 tahun naik pada level 1,352% yang mendorong penguatan pada saham perbankan. Sentimen positif juga berasal dari indikasi kasus virus varian delta telah mencapai puncaknya sehingga akan segera mengalami penurunan. Pasar juga menantikan symposium Jackson Hole di mana para bank sentral diperkirakan akan merilis perkembangan dan rencana sekitar pengurangan stimulus moneter di tengah kondisi ekonomi yang membaik. Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell dijadwalkan akan berpidato pada hari Jumat waktu AS.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 25 Agustus 2021 ditutup menguat 0,39% pada level 6113. Saham sektor kesehatan membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp787,72 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6080/6050 dan resistance 6145/6180. Stock pick: BMRI, EXCL, FREN, ASII, UNTR
