Market Review and Prediction

Indeks Dow Jones ditutup melemah namun membaik dari level terendah hariannya, di tengah perdagangan yang fluktuatif menantikan hasil pertemuan The Fed pada Rabu waktu AS. Pada perdagangan kemarin, indeks Dow Jones sempat melemah hingga 800 poin lebih, sebelum akhirnya berbalik meskipun masih ditutup melemah terbatas. Saham sektor energi dan perbankan, yang diuntungkan dari pemulihan ekonomi dan kenaikan yield obligasi, mendorong pembalikan arah indeks. Sebaliknya saham sektor teknologi melemah akibat kenaikan yield obligasi. Pasar menantikan hasil pertemuan The Fed pada hari ini waktu AS, dimana pasar memperkirakan The Fed akan memberi sinyal untuk mulai menaikkan suku bunga pada bulan Maret dan kemudian akan menaikkan suku bunga lagi dalam upaya meredam laju inflasi.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 26 Januari 2022 ditutup melemah 1,31% pada level 6568. Semua sektor melemah dengan kontribusi pelemahan terbesar pada saham sektor teknologi. Investor asing net buy Rp106,26 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6523/6480 dan resistance 6585/6608.
