Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup menguat dan indeks Dow Jones berhasil ditutup di atas level 35.000 untuk pertama kalinya. Untuk indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite juga ditutup pada rekor tertinggi baru. Kenaikan yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun pada level 1,281%, meredakan kekhawatiran pasar akan perlambatan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Laporan keuangan beberapa emiten sektor teknologi yang lebih baik dari estimasi juga mendorong optimisme investor menjelang akan dirilisnya laporan keuangan perusahaan teknologi besar, seperti Apple, Microsoft dan Amazon pada pekan ini. Penguatan saham sektor teknologi juga disebabkan oleh berlanjutnya penyebaran virus Covid-19 varian delta. Pada pekan ini pasar akan mencermati pertemuan The Fed pada hari Selasa dan Rabu. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pekan ini diantaranya new home sales, durable orders, indeks harga rumah, consumer confidence, GDP Q2, personal income, personal spending dan PCE prices.
IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 23 Juli 2021 ditutup melemah 0,58% pada level 6101. Saham sektor consumer noncyclical mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp116,89 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6080/6065 dan resistance 6140/6170. Stock pick: ANTM, TINS, BRIS, AGRO, AKRA
