Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dimana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup menguat pada rekor tertinggi baru. Faktor positif antara lain berasal dari ekspektasi positif akan laporan kinerja keuangan emiten. Penguatan saham Tesla, setelah mendapatkan order 100 ribu mobil dari perusahaan rental Hertz dan kenaikan target harga oleh Morgan Stanley, juga mendorong penguatan indeks. Kenaikan harga gas juga menjadi faktor positif bagi energi terbarukan. Alphabet dan Microsoft dijadwalkan akan merilis laporan kinerja pada hari Selasa setelah penutupan perdagangan di bursa. Hingga saat ini sebanyak 117 emiten dalam indeks S&P500 telah merilis laporan keuangan, dimana sebesar 84% membukukan laba yang melebihi estimasi.
IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 25 Oktober 2021 ditutup melemah 0,27% pada level 6625. Saham sektor transportasi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp3,051 triliun, termasuk transaksi di pasar negosiasi atas saham CARE dengan net buy investor asing senilai Rp2,99 triliun. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6585/6550 dan resistance 6685/6693. Stock pick: BBCA, HRUM, ADRO, PTBA, MEDC
