Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah menjelang simposium bank sentral di Jackson Hole, Wyoming, AS yang dilakukan secara virtual. Pasar menantikan rincian rencana The Fed untuk mulai menarik stimulus kebijakan moneternya pada simposium tersebut di hari Jumat. Pasar juga mencermati perkembangan adanya ledakan di Afganistan yang menambah sentiment risiko. Saham sektor energi mengalami pelemahan terbesar seiring dengan koreksinya harga minyak mentah. Sementara itu data initial claims pekan lalu tercatat sebanyak 353 ribu, sedikit meningkat dibandingkan pekan sebelumnya 349 ribu.
IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 26 Agustus 2021 ditutup melemah 0,9% pada level 6058. Saham sektor keuangan mengalami pelemahan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp276,6 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6030/5958 dan resistance 6110/6135. Stock pick: UNTR, KLBF, ADRO, PTBA, INDY
