Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix, dimana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup menguat sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Indeks Dow Jones telah mengalami kenaikan selama enam hari berturut-turut dan kembali mencapai rekor tertinggi untuk pertama kalinya sejak bulan November lalu. Meredanya kekhawatiran akan dampak varian omicron terhadap ekonomi serta sentimen positif dari Santa Claus Rally menjadi pemicu penguatan indeks. Namun saham sektor penerbangan mengalami koreksi. Saham sektor teknologi juga melemah akibat kenaikan yield obligasi pemerintah AS dengan tenor 10 tahun pada level di atas 1,5%.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 29 Desember 2021 ditutup menguat 0,04% pada level 6600. Saham sektor consumer cyclicals membukukan penguatan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor energi mengalami pelemahan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp92,63 miliar. Hari ini adalah hari terakhir perdagangan bursa pada tahun 2021. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6585/6555 dan resistance 6630/6650. Stock pick: BBCA, BBTN, ARTO, ASII, ADRO, PTBA, UNTR
